How do I start a check?#

   Sign in or create an academi.cx account.

   Open the dashboard and upload a document, or paste your text.

   Choose the available check type and start the check.

   Open the finished check to see its scores and highlighted passages.

What can I check for free?#

Free AI checks support documents from 125 words up to the free plan's word limit, with a daily allowance. Your dashboard shows both. Similarity checks require the relevant access shown in your account.

What should I do with the result?#

Review the highlighted passages in context. An AI score is a model’s assessment, and a similarity score measures matching text; neither alone establishes misconduct. Check your sources and follow your institution’s rules.
