Terms of Service
Effective date: 7 August 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the academi.cx website, software, and services (the “Service”). The Service is provided by academi.cx Inc., a corporation incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act (corporation number 1777537-7), with its registered office at 200 Bay Street, North Tower, Suite 1200, Toronto, Ontario, M5J 2J2, Canada (“academi.cx”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing the Service.
1. Terms of Use
By accessing this website, you agree to comply with these terms of service, all applicable laws and regulations, and that you are responsible for compliance with any local laws. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service. The materials on academi.cx are protected by copyright and trademark law.
2. Use License
a. Permission is granted to access academi.cx services and customer panel through a subscription for your own personal use. This access is provided as a license, not a transfer of ownership, and under this license, you may not:
- Modify or copy the materials.
- Use the materials for any commercial purpose or public display, except through our API as set out in paragraph c.
- Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software on academi.cx.
- Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations.
- Transfer the materials to another person or “mirror” the materials on any other server.
- Give access to the materials to another person, or access the materials on behalf of another person, except through our API as set out in paragraph c.
b. This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by academi.cx at any time.
c. API access. Paragraph a does not restrict use of the Service through our API. Where we have issued you an API key, you may use the Service commercially and submit documents on behalf of your own users, provided that you have the right to submit those documents and remain responsible for everything sent under your key; you do not resell, sublicense or present the Service as your own detector; and you do not use the Service or its output to build, train or evaluate a competing product. Your API key is yours alone and must be kept secret — anything done with it is treated as done by you. We may set rate limits, and we may suspend a key that is abused or that is being used in a way these Terms do not allow. Amounts you prepay for API usage (“API credit”) are final and non-refundable. API credit is drawn down as you use the Service through our API. Any credit you have not used cannot be refunded, exchanged for cash or moved to another account, and is forfeited if you close your account, or if we suspend or terminate it under these Terms. API credit does not expire while your account is open. It is separate from any subscription and is not covered by any refund guarantee. Nothing in this paragraph limits any rights you have under applicable law that cannot be excluded.

These limitations may not apply in jurisdictions that do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability for consequential damages.
5. Subscriptions and Termination
