Share your AI and similarity reports with a link

Create a shareable link for an AI or similarity report, including older reports, and turn off access whenever you choose.

Brayden · 1 min read

You can now share your Academi.cx results with a link. The feature works for both AI and similarity reports, including reports you generated before this update.

Anyone with the link can view the report, as long as they’re logged into Academi.cx. You choose which reports to share, and you can turn off access at any time.

Share the report you want someone to see

A shared link gives another person a way to open the report itself. It can be useful when you want to discuss a result with a tutor, get a second opinion on a passage, or show someone the report you are reviewing.

The feature supports AI and similarity results, so you can share whichever type of check is relevant to that conversation.

Sharing starts switched off

Report sharing is disabled by default. A report only becomes available through a shareable link when you enable sharing for it.

When you no longer want the link to provide access, toggle sharing off. This revokes access through that link and gives you control over whether the report remains available to other viewers.

Your earlier reports work too

You do not need to run another scan to use this feature on an existing result. Sharing is available for previously generated reports as well as new ones.

That means a report you have already checked can become part of a conversation without uploading the document again just to create a shareable result.

How to share a report

  1. Open the AI or similarity report you want to share and click Share.
  2. Turn on Public link, then click Copy.
  3. Send the link to the person you want to view the report.
  4. Turn sharing off when you want to revoke link access.
The Academi.cx report viewer with the Share Report panel open, the Public link toggle switched on, and a cursor hovering over a sentence showing a HIGH AI likelihood tooltip.
